Are you ready for another FAST Championship autocross? Of course you are! Half the country is buried in snow and ice, we are OBLIGATED to autocross as much as possible!

Registration for this event is open until March 9th. We're at about 25% capacity already.

Because this is a Championship event, it is open to all licensed drivers. Novices and first timers are welcome, so if you've not done this before, this is the perfect opportunity to bring your Miata out for some fun!

Registration and event info here:
Get Registered!

Registration closes in 7 days, get on it!

All you noobs... mistakes to avoid:
  • Not autocrossing because you think your car isn't good enough. Doesn't matter... check your ego at the door... there's about a 95% chance you're going to get your ass handed to you no matter what car you bring! But, you will have FUN, and you will learn and improve, and that's what it's all about. Nobody's going to give you a hard time about it, we're all out to have fun and improve our skills. (I made this mistake myself. I'd heard about autocross 8 years before I ever tried it, but never thought my car was "good enough".)
  • Coming to watch an autocross instead of just registering as a driver. You CAN come watch if you really want to. But, I promise you'll find yourself standing there saying "this looks fun, why didn't I sign up to drive???" within an hour or two.
  • Spending months or years building "the ultimate autocross car" when you've never been to an autocross. Just bring your car out to an autocross! If you've got a Miata, that's perfect! It can be stock. It can be ratty. It can have cheap tires. And it doesn't even have to be a Miata! Just take whatever car you drive every day. Autocrossing is fun in any car. Just get out there and flog it!

Remember: Autocross is for fast drivers. Drag racing is for fast cars.

As a card holding member of the "Run What Ya Brung" miata autocross club I can say autocross requires a running engine, a seat belt, 4 round wheels, and brakes ( or at least the vague notion of brakes ). Have that and you are guaranteed to have fun.

That's for sure!
If all I had was a auto Camry or Accord I would still be out there.

Great!
This group handles first time autocrossers really well.

No need to be nervous because you're going to have a great time. We love novices!

Results from today's autocross.

I'd say Josh layed down a fair amount of smack.

Not to bad, but I could not get the turn around correct. The front sway bar made a huge difference in the way the car handled.
