I'm all in! Look out S4... this 1.6 Miata will be tearing it up or falling apart because of age.

It will self-destruct out of shame when it gets beaten by the FASTiva.

I would say it's almost a fair race. Your car has only thirty less HP and weighs five hundred lbs less. Tires are the same brand but mine are 205 and yours are 185.
I don't plan on losing to FESTER! Lol

The 1.6 Miata is rated at 116 hp from the factory. The 1.3 Festiva is rated at 63 hp from the factory. You might want to check your maths. :)

And it only weighs maybe 300-350 pounds less. (1850 vs 2150)

But, you're stil goin' down.

I wish I could be there. I have a wedding to attend, instead. :)

It's been too long since you've be to an event! Last time at TBD you had over half a second on S4 and finished in the top 20 out of over 100. I can't wait for a rematch!

Ask if you can change the day of the wedding? I'm sure everyone will understand.

I'm going down in history as the guy who mercilessly laid the smack down on a poor little red car.
I'm not sure if that is something I should even brag about though.
I cannot wait to be back to an autocross!!!

You certainty cannot brag about beating the junkyard queen. But if I were you, I'd be sure to shake the dust off quick, because the Festiva slows down for nothing, not even brake pedal application!

Unfortunately, the Festiva also accelerates for nothing, especially not throttle application!

I've checked the FAST rules and I see nothing outlawing a Ron Rice push start. Y'all are screwed!

Hmm...I may have a package of those in the shop, left over from one of Jill's science labs. Although I don't know if the FASTiva can handle a C-6...might have to dig out the little 1/2-A engines.

Since this event isn't at Brooksville, we don't have the Monday deadline. I'm actually holding registration open until Wednesday. But, there are only 10 openings left in the afternoon session, and they are going quickly!

I think I have read elsewhere, but to just watch from the spectator area am I correct that I do not need to register or sign in at this location? Although I would've loved to give it a try, I don't have the time on this date to spend all or even half of the day. I will also have my 10 year old daughter with me, so I understand the no entry part with a minor. Thanks!
