It should be noted- the adhesive sticks really good. You can lift paint while applying it, and you can lift paint when you're finally done and are removing it. That may or may not be an issue, but its never good.

It's a lot cheaper than paint

That's one thing that's not true for me.
Good primer, base, clear will run me about 250-300.

Wrap and tools I don't have would be 375-425.

But it's less work overall and that I like.

It looks great. You are doing a fantastic job on a very difficult car. The newer air release vinyl is so forgiving compared to what I started working with.

One tip I learn from an old 3m certified guy was if you can tell that there is a spot that is definitely going to give you issues, like unsmoothable wrinkles in a complex compound curve. Think the inside complex radii. Go ahead and before you wrap it install a piece of nicely trimmed vinyl into that area. When you get to this point you have the option of trimming the vinyl if it's distorting/stretching too much, which reduces adhesive ability. The slight seam will be practically unnoticeable compared to a scrunching of vinyl or wrinkles. I don't know if that made sense. It was easier when it was shown to me.

Makes perfect sense. You have a small piece of vinyl that you lay over and if you need to cut out the wrinkle, you expose the vinyl underneath.

Chrome wrap could look really good on the windshield frame.

Any pics of the "after wrap"?
This looks like a really good color and an excellent alternative to
A new painting

I still haven't finished it. Between my time in school and the cold weather lining up just right, I've only just done the passenger door the other day
