Added some new fields, primarily to get more info on new members to help with the approval process. (spammers generally don't fill out custom fields correctly, if at all)

There's a new "First Name" field that will show up in your member info block.

<--- See mine?

While you're in there, be sure to put in your Location so that we know where you are. Signatures are good, too... but try to keep them to 3-4 lines max. I've noticed a few ridiculously long sigs lately.

One of the new fields is "why are you here" and it is required. That's there for newbs. You'll have to put something in there just to be able to save your profile. But, it's not publicly viewable, and nobody's going to take the time go into admin to read it. So, don't waste any time on it.

It may very well be. The last newb we had sign up filled it out. If you're not seeing it... good. :)

I think it may show up for mods. And if you see it, it's required, so you must complete it.

Sucks to be you.

Made some changes to the way the "Location" and "City" fields are displayed.

The facts:
1. "Location" can be left blank. If left blank, it will not appear. You can use it for "additional location info" or whatever... or leave it blank.
2. "City" is a required field. It can only be blank for an "old school" user who hasn't edited their profile in a long, long time. If it's blank, it won't appear.

The whys:
"Location" is a default field. Without getting into some hacking (which I'd prefer not to do, future upgrades are always easier on an unmodified board), we can't make it required... which is what I wanted to do on new user registrations.

So, "City" and "State" were created as custom fields (no hacking required, this is done right in Admin). But, initially, I didn't want to go through what I'm going through now... and dealing with multiple "location/city" fields.

BUT... the new users never go back and update their profile to fill out the "Location" field. And the old users never go back and update their profile to fill out the "City" field. And we end up with mostly all the newbs with no location listed (which is silly, because they're REQUIRED to fill out that info when they register!)... and a handful of old users with no location listed.

So, now both will display. If you prefer to only see "City", leave the "Location" field blank. If you want to use both, that's fine, too.

I just like to be able to see where people are located at a glance!
